Vortex Telecom ("Vortex", "we", "us", or "our") operates the MyVortex mobile application, web portal, and associated services (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Services.
1. Information We Collect
In order to provide our managed device, network, and communication services, we may collect the following types of information:
- Personal Data: Name, email address, date of birth, phone number, and billing information.
- Device & Telemetry Data: IP addresses, MAC addresses, IMEI, device model, OS version, and network status to provide Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Software Defined Perimeter (SDP) services.
- Communication Data: Call logs, SMS metadata, and VoIP/SIP registration details required to operate our cloud PBX and support services.
- AI Chat Interactions: Transcripts of conversations with the "Vortex AI Companion" (Gemini Bridge) are temporarily processed to provide contextual support and troubleshoot network issues.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- To provision, operate, and maintain your Vortex telecommunications and network hardware.
- To enforce security policies via our Zero-Trust (Doctrine) network rules.
- To provide automated AI support and intelligent routing for your IT tickets.
- To calculate "Behavior Scores" for network security risk assessment and loyalty rewards.
3. Children's Privacy (Juniors)
Our platform includes a "Junior & Guardian" ecosystem designed for users under the age of 18 (minors). For these accounts:
- We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors without verifiable consent from a Parent or Guardian (Power of Attorney/Mandate).
- A Guardian account maintains strict oversight, including the ability to monitor telemetry, restrict content, and approve financial actions.
- If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor without proper Guardian authorization, please contact us immediately so we can remove the data or link it to a verified Guardian account.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with:
- Service Providers: Third-party vendors (like Google Generative AI for the Gemini bot, and Square for payments) who assist in providing the Services.
- Legal Requirements: Law enforcement or government agencies if required by law or to protect the safety and security of our network.
- Authorized Guardians/Mandates: If your account is linked as a Junior or Vulnerable Adult under a mandate, your designated Guardian/POA has full access to your telemetry and account history.
5. Data Security
We implement robust technical and organizational security measures, including End-to-End Encryption (E2EE) on Voice channels, Software Defined Perimeters (SDP), and regular biometric verification prompts, to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.

Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), you may have the right to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction or deletion of your data.
- Opt-out of certain data processing activities.
